Day 6: The Planner

Despite my dependence on gadgets and technology (such as my mobile phone and computer), I still have to have a planner where I can write down things I need to do and for whatever comes in handy to write. This is the 3rd straight year that I've had the planner and so far I'm loving all the improvements they've been doing over the years.

Besides, I still think that my planners/diaries/journals document how nitty gritty my life can be on a daily basis and those are things that can't be read or seen on my blogs that I would like DS to know when he's old enough.

Day 5: Idealism

This is what's on the January page of our 2010 calendar (a freebie from National Bookstore).

Idealism - it still lives in all of us.

Day 4: Bag of the Week

I'm a certified bag-a-holic and my brother knew exactly what would make me smile for Christmas.

I've been using this bag for 2 weeks already. I'll probably be using it until I find a new bag that would catch my fancy.

And the suitcase where the bag stands? I'm gonna use it real soon :)

Day 3: Karaoke Night

I haven't had a karaoke night for the longest time so when Bethel, a friend of mine, suggested that we go to a karaoke bar, I didn't think twice of going - even after I've already had 3 full glasses of margarita on the rocks at Friday's.

We sang our throats and the night away 'til the wee hours of the morning but it was all worth it. I should do this more often - not the drinking but the karaoke night. LOL!

Day 2: Reunion

Since 2006, Suzanne and I have always made it a point to see each other every time she and her family would come over for the holidays. We had late snacks at Mary Grace in Serendra as we caught up on each others' stories about what transpired the past year. Time is never enough when we're together but there's always a next time.

It's always a great feeling to be able to catch up with friends you haven't seen in a while. As such, true friends will always be there for you despite the distance and circumstances both of you have.

A Brand New Year

First of all, I'd like to greet everyone a very happy new year.

I know I wasn't able to complete Project 365 last year so I'm trying it again this year. I'm not gonna put any pressure on myself this time to scrap the photos. Probably there will be entries where the photo will be scrapped but for starters, I'll just feature my photo for the day as religiously as I can. I will be changing my blog header so just watch out for it.

January 1 - the first day of the new year. Papa and I went out to meet my brother and enjoyed some precious bonding time with each other. Spending time with family is always precious for me. This is one of those rare photo opportunities I have with the Don (as I call him). This was taken while we were waiting for my brother at Starbucks.
