010/365 - She's Clean

It's dark so it's not really visible that Victoria just had her first car wash for 2011 after more than a month of being subjected to fickle-minded weather. If only she could talk, I can just imagine the bickering we'll be having over the fact that I prioritize cleaning my house more than having her cleaned every single week. And I'm pretty sure my father would be backing her up on that :p

007/365 - Gatherings

I have so many photos to choose from this day because I attended 2 gatherings in just one night. After shift, I went to 8065 Bagnet with some of my most-willing teammates and then later on I had a reunion with my RX-Talk Mailing List friends.

And since I don't want to be unfair, I'll be posting 2 pictures for today - 1 of each from the 2 gatherings I went to.

006/365 - Strawberry Yoghurt

Very pale strawberry color I should say. It's probably meant to be that way. But Strawberry is pink and this doesn't even come close. But then again, it's still fro-yo so that can do.

001/365 - Another Beginning

This is my 3rd attempt to complete Project 365 and I hope this time I'll be able to make it. Kudos to those who completed the project for 2010. You all deserve a pat on the back for that.

2011 started out with me sleeping it off - only because I had an asthma attack the day before New Year's Day so this was my companion throughout the night (including that cozy comforter and the air-conditioned room I slept in at my parents' place).



But I'm pretty sure 2011 is a good year. I know it is...not just for me but for all those who believe that it is. Mind over matter, my friend.

Day 37: Curves

I was invited to a blogger event to witness the opening of the newest gym in town that's exclusively for women.

After hearing about the program that they have, I think I'd like to hit the gym again to keep me active. We'll see.

Day 36: Lunch with the Family

My last day in Indonesia was spent together with family. We had lunch at the luxurious Padma Hotel and experienced the breathtaking view of the mountainside from where the restaurant stands. Beautiful is definitely an understatement for this place. Cliché as it may be but being with family is truly priceless!

Day 32: Welcome to Indonesia

This is the vacation I've been waiting for. It's 3.5 years in the making and I finally made it! Woohoo!

Day 31: New Place, Great Food

Met up with my brother, sister-in-law and their daughter for lunch at this new place (at least for me and Papa). I don't frequent Greenbelt 5 so this was really new.

Food is great and the price is just right. Think Friday's with bigger servings and more family-friendly food :) All of us were stuffed! I'll visit this place again soon.

Day 30: Starstruck Moment

I attended a blogger event for mommies sponsored by Nuffnang and Johnson & Johnson to promote their Baby Bedtime A to Zzzs program. The host of the program, Ms. Christine Bersola-Babao, was kind and game enough to have her picture taken with me despite my added accessory (the neck brace).

She's really pretty. Tomorrow will be the big day for her as she will be delivering her son via CS due to placenta previa. I hope and pray that she'll have a safe delivery and that her baby will be a healthy one.

Day 29: Another Scent

We got this new scent by Victoria's Secret. It smells similar to vanilla and I like it :)

Day 28: The Card

I got this unexpected post-Christmas card from someone who recently just hurt me. The card goes into my box full of this person's memories.

Sometimes, not even the most beautiful thoughts and things can make you smile. They can even hurt you all the more.
